n 10 November 2025, 400 creatives, executives and influencers gathered at The Dorchester in Mayfair for the annual Walpole British Luxury Awards, celebrating the brands and individuals defining British luxury’s creativity, innovation and global cultural relevance. The black-tie ceremony, hosted by actor Omari Douglas, drew an illustrious crowd including actress Cush Jumbo OBE, theatre director Jamie Lloyd, model Jodie Kidd, and model Arizona Muse.
Walpole’s Chief Executive Helen Brocklebank opened the evening by praising the “imagination, creativity and excellence” of British luxury, noting that despite economic challenges, the sector “tells a powerful story of confidence, ingenuity and determination.” She highlighted that British luxury is worth £81 billion to the UK economy, growing 11% annually, and supports nearly half a million jobs. This success, Brocklebank said, is built on the industry’s commitment to nurturing talent and pushing the boundaries of innovation and excellence. She congratulated the night’s winners as exemplars of those qualities.

Established in 1750, The House of Swaine received the Made in the UK award for its commitment to British craftsmanship, using generations-old techniques to ensure the art of handcraft continues to thrive.
Hamilton & Inches was recognised with the Luxury in the Making award for its fine jewellery and silverware celebrating local materials and craftsmanship. Both Swaine and Hamilton & Inches exemplify how heritage and modernity fuse to define the future of British luxury.
David Collins Studio, a global icon of British interior design, received the Outstanding Contribution Award for over three decades of redefining luxury interior design.

Goodwood Art Foundation received the Cultural & Social Contribution Award for pioneering art programmes and community outreach, making Goodwood a dynamic cultural force, reinforcing culture’s central role in British luxury.

The Royal Ballet and Opera received the WOLF Award for Future Legacy for preserving rare theatrical crafts – like wig-making and scenic art – and developing apprenticeships that keep Britain’s stage traditions alive. Its sustainability initiatives, technological advances and partnership with the National Theatre to expand career access put legacy into action.
Jamie Lloyd’s fearless, minimalist reinventions of classic theatre and Cush Jumbo OBE’s powerful performances and advocacy for greater representation in the arts earned them recognition as Great Creative Britons.

Elvis & Kresse was named Sustainable Luxury Brand of the Year for its pioneering approach to circular luxury. The company salvages decommissioned fire hoses and leather off-cuts, transforming them into high-end lifestyle pieces. It has diverted over 315 tonnes of waste from landfill and donated more than £480,000 to charity, exemplifying purpose-led luxury. With its regenerative farm and use of renewable energy, Elvis & Kresse proves that sustainability and sophistication can thrive together.

Highgrove by Sanderson – a partnership between The King’s Foundation and design house Sanderson – received the Creative Collaboration Award. Inspired by the gardens of His Majesty King Charles III, the resulting collection of over 100 wallpapers, fabrics and embroideries celebrates biodiversity, sustainability and the poetry of nature. Launched at Highgrove Gardens and showcased at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the collaboration is a masterclass in blending craftsmanship with heritage to create something timeless.

Aston Martin’s Valhalla supercar earned the Game-Changer Award, marking a bold new chapter for the marque. Combining Formula 1 engineering with British craftsmanship, Valhalla advances automotive design and performance through pioneering hybrid technology. It embodies the future of luxury motoring while remaining true to Aston Martin’s heritage.
Beaverbrook won the Luxury Experience Award for its Hot Air Balloon Dining experience, which reimagined the boundaries of British hospitality. Developed in partnership with Royal Ascot, this spectacular airborne experience blended gastronomy, theatre and adventure. The concept captivated guests and global media alike, cementing Beaverbrook’s status as a leader in experiential luxury.
Raymond Blanc OBE received the Visionary Award for reshaping British gastronomy. Since arriving in the UK in the 1970s, he has revolutionised the nation’s food culture through his renowned restaurant Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons and by mentoring protégés who have gone on to earn their own Michelin stars. His lifelong commitment to quality, craft and sustainability continues to inspire the best in British hospitality.
Gusbourne was named British Luxury Brand of the Year after nearly two decades of elevating English sparkling wine to world-class status. The Kent-based winery’s record exports, global partnerships and critical acclaim exemplify the future of British luxury – rooted in craft, elevated by innovation, and inspired by nature.
Walpole also celebrated 11 emerging luxury brands that completed its 2025 Brands of Tomorrow mentorship programme, underscoring the next generation’s creativity and determination.
The evening opened with a champagne reception followed by a gourmet dinner. As the night concluded, attendees departed with goody bags from Fortnum & Mason and other luxury houses – a sweet finale to an event that balanced heritage and innovation in British luxury.
