est Hollywood, November 8, 2025 – The Pacific Design Center’s iconic modernist setting served as backdrop for one of the year’s most anticipated high-society events: the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala by Paul Mitchell. On this Saturday evening, an exclusive guest list of Hollywood stars, business magnates, royals, and tastemakers gathered for an opulent night of fashion, fine dining, and festivity. With tennis legend Serena Williams honored as the night’s guest of honor, the star-studded gala reaffirmed its status as a crown jewel of Los Angeles charity events.

A Glamorous Setting in West Hollywood

Renowned as one of the West Coast’s most striking landmarks, the Pacific Design Center was transformed into a lavish venue for the occasion. The building’s sleek glass architecture was illuminated with dramatic lighting and lush floral installations, creating an ambiance of contemporary glamour. During the cocktail hour, over 800 guests – among them top executives, philanthropists and Hollywood A-listers – mingled in the center’s expansive halls. Couture-clad attendees sipped champagne and specialty cocktails while sampling gourmet canapés curated by famed chefs Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo. The air of exclusivity was palpable as guests admired the chic décor and anticipated the evening ahead.

High Fashion on a Star-Studded Red Carpet

The gala’s red carpet doubled as a high-fashion runway. Honoree Serena Williams arrived in a show-stopping off-the-shoulder black gown with a blush foldover neckline, a look that channeled Old Hollywood glamour with a modern twist. Many attendees embraced elegant metallics and classic black ensembles: Kerry Washington shimmered in a rose-nude sequin column gown, and pop icon Lizzo sparkled in a figure-hugging black sequined dress accented by a diamond choker. Meanwhile, Ciara made a daring statement in a vintage-inspired black gown complete with a thigh-high slit and opera-length gloves, exuding her signature blend of edge and elegance. It was a parade of couture that firmly reinforced the Baby2Baby Gala, presented by Paul Mitchell, as a West Coast red-carpet highlight.

A Who’s Who of Elite Attendees

Inside, the guest list read like a who’s who of global high society. Serena Williams, celebrated not only as a sports icon but also as a philanthropist and entrepreneur, received the evening’s Giving Tree Award to roaring applause. The honor was presented by an equally illustrious group of friends: Grammy winner Alicia Keys introduced Williams with a heartfelt tribute, and actress Kerry Washington – herself a past honoree – praised Williams as a role model who uses her platform with purpose. Williams, visibly moved, accepted with gratitude and noted how becoming a mother deepened her appreciation for Baby2Baby’s cause.

Royalty and Hollywood elites alike turned out to honor Williams and join the celebration. Britain’s Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex lent a touch of royal glamour to the audience, joining a constellation of stars ranging from fashion mavens like Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton to entertainment moguls like Tyler Perry and Orlando Bloom. Also spotted was Baby2Baby angel Jessica Alba. The mix of A-list actors, musicians, royals and industry leaders socializing under one roof underscored the event’s prestige among high society.

Exquisite Dining and Entertainment

In true Los Angeles style, the gala’s dining experience was anything but ordinary. A dozen of the city’s most celebrated restaurants, offered tasting stations that turned dinner into a gourmet tour of L.A. Guests sampled everything from Funke’s artisan rigatoni cacio e pepe to Mr. Chow’s famous chicken satay and made-to-order sushi hand rolls from Kazunori by Sushi Nozawa, ensuring no palate was left unsatisfied.

Following the feast, the entertainment hit a high note. Rapper Ludacris took the stage and brought the black-tie crowd to its feet with an electrifying medley of his hits. Attendees turned the ballroom into a dance floor, reveling in the concert-like energy. And the celebration didn’t end there: an after-party hosted by DJ D-Nice kept guests dancing late into the night, complete with late-night Jon & Vinny’s pizzas and gourmet bagels to refuel the merrymakers.

The Gala’s Lasting Significance

By night’s end, the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala by Paul Mitchell had raised a record-setting $18 million in donations. It exemplified a modern high-society ethos where philanthropy and glamour converge – more than a charity fundraiser, the event has become a cultural institution for the elite, proving that doing good can be the ultimate luxury. True luxury lies not only in exclusive fashion and fine cuisine, but in coming together to make a difference in spectacular style.
