onaco’s legendary Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo played host to a new crown jewel in the principality’s social calendar: the inaugural Global Gift Gala Monaco, held in early October 2025. The storied Salle Empire ballroom shimmered with high style and higher purpose, bringing together Hollywood celebrities, European royalty, and international philanthropists under one gilded roof. Amid clinking champagne glasses and camera flashes on the red carpet, a spirit of generosity reigned – this was an evening where glamour and giving went hand in hand.
Monaco Welcomes a New Gala Tradition
In a city famed for grand charity galas, the Global Gift Gala’s Monaco debut carved out its own place in history. The event, chaired by actress-philanthropist Eva Longoria, marked the Global Gift Foundation’s first foray into the Principality – part of a charitable series spanning several continents. Longoria arrived fresh from Paris Fashion Week to preside as honorary host, joining forces with Her Serene Highness Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and an entourage of the principality’s elite – including Louis and Marie Ducruet, Camille Gottlieb, and Alexandre Grimaldi – at this black-tie affair. Held in the hotel’s opulent Salle Empire, the gala seamlessly blended Monte-Carlo’s trademark elegance with a mission of charity, raising funds to support children, women, and families in need around the world.
As Princess Stéphanie’s daughter Camille Gottlieb co-organised the gala, the night became a family affair – and with Monaco’s princely clan turning out in force, it instantly became one of the hottest tickets in town.

Glamour in Service of Good
An atmosphere of refined splendor with a heartfelt core pervaded the night. An illustrious guest list spanned fields from motorsport to fashion – Formula 2 driver Arthur Leclerc and supermodel Baptiste Giabiconi were among the well-known faces present, each committed to the cause. Longoria brought Hollywood star power and sincerity to the stage, ensuring the gala’s philanthropic spirit stayed strong throughout.
Midway through dinner, attention turned to honorees whose influence extends far beyond Monaco. Princess Stéphanie of Monaco received the Global Gift Philanthropist Award, recognizing her decades of humanitarian work in areas like HIV/AIDS awareness and children’s welfare.

Latin music icon Daddy Yankee was presented with the Global Gift Humanitarian Award for his efforts to uplift disadvantaged communities through education and culture.

Lior Suchard dazzled the audience between musical sets by Vitaa and the flamenco-fusion troupe Gipsy Reyes Heritage. A live auction of one-of-a-kind experiences – from a London red-carpet weekend to VIP Monaco Grand Prix passes – fueled bids into the tens of thousands of euros.
Throughout the night, Monaco’s unique blend of elegance and empathy was on display, proving that charity and glamour can indeed share the same stage.
High Society Heritage and Social Relevance
For Monaco’s elite, the Global Gift Gala was more than just another soirée – it echoed the principality’s values and heritage. Monaco’s tradition of star-studded philanthropy dates back to 1948, when Prince Louis II founded the Red Cross Ball – an event later led by Princess Grace that united aristocracy and Hollywood for noble causes. In that spirit, the Global Gift Gala’s arrival felt especially apt. Princess Stéphanie’s patronage anchored the gala in Monaco’s legacy. Much as her mother Grace Kelly once brought star power to charitable events, Stéphanie has long championed humanitarian causes – from the Circus Festival to her Fight Aids Monaco foundation – making her an ideal honoree.
Equally striking was the convergence of global tastemakers under one roof. Monaco’s royals mingled with film stars, music icons, fashion moguls and philanthropists from around the world – a rare gathering of trend-setters and change-makers. On the red carpet, le beau monde lined up for the cameras, some seizing the chance to pose with Longoria and the Monaco royals. This blend of social theatre and sincere purpose underscored how such events serve as both networking salons and engines of good, with influence reaching far beyond Monaco’s borders.
A Night with Lasting Impact
By night’s end, Monaco’s newest gala had made its mark. Funds raised will support Global Gift Foundation projects – from a special-needs children’s center in Spain to other initiatives – turning generosity into tangible change. Equally important, the gala reaffirmed that privilege comes with the duty to give back. As final ovations faded, it was clear the night had been more than a glittering party – it was a statement that modern high society prizes empathy as much as exclusivity. Many wondered if the Global Gift Gala would become a permanent fixture in Monaco’s social season; judging by this debut, it’s off to a “glittering start”.
